HC directed to repair Thiruchendur Murugan temple
The Madurai bench of Madras High Court today directed the Tiruchendur Senthil Andavar (Murugan) temple devasthanam to repair the damage caused to the main deity, as per the Kumaratantiram – Karana Bagam Jironodharana (repair) chapter, before kumbhabishekam.
Thiruchendur Murugan temple dedicated to Lord Muruga is one of the Arupadaiveedu (six major abodes) of Lord Muruga.
Thiruchendur Murugan Temple or Tiruchendur Senthilandavan Koil is one of the most famous Lord Muruga Temples in Tamil Nadu, situated at Thiruchendur. It is one of the ancient temples in India.
