Forensic report on Vaishnavi's death

A doctor who conducted 'Panchanama'of ten-year-old girl P Naga Vaishnavi, who was brutally murdered by her abductors after kidnapping her in Vijayawada on Saturday last, said the forensic report would be submitted in a month.

Talking to newspersons here, Dr Rajagopal of Government General Hospital said forensic expert team led by Professor Raj Kumar visited the spot where the girl was dumped in a boiler-cum-furnace in Autonagar here and noticed that the girl's body was charred beyond recognition.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the girl's murder sped up with the intervention of the State Government. Home Minister P Sabita Indira Reddy reportedly spoke with Vijayawada City Police Commissioner K V Rajendranath Reddy over phone and enquired about the incident.
