IPL 3 : KKR beat RCB comprehensively

Kolkata Knight Riders notched up their second successive win, beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by seven wickets in the third Indian Premier League in Kolkata on Sunday.

Knight Riders first restricted the Royal Challengers at 135 for seven and then rode on half centuries by Manoj Tiwary (50) and Brad Hodge (50) to overhaul the target with four balls to spare.

Chasing 136 to win, Knight Riders had a flying start with Tiwary and Hodge milking the Royal Challengers bowlers as they cruised to 85 for no loss in 10 overs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: 135 for 7 in 20 overs (Jacques Kallis 65 not out, Rahul Dravid 21; Angelo Mathews 4/19).

Kolkata Knight Riders: 136 for three in 19.2 overs (Manoj Tiwary 50, Brad Hodge 50; RE van der Merwe 2/27).
