Oscars 2010 Streaming Tonight

Oscars 2010 set to take place tonight, the industries’ best are prepared for Hollywood’s greatest extravaganza. The biggest war tonight will be between the Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker and James Cameron’s Avatar.

The Oscars 2010 have both the movies with nine nominations with both James ‘Avatar’ Cameron and Kathryn Bigelow battling it out for best director and best picture categories.

Oscar awards will see these two contrasting movies both in nature and spirit with Avatar being a 3D epic and The Hurt Locker being an Iraq war drama. While Avatar is a mind boggling earner with a gross of more than $2 billion, The Hurt Locker has an earning of meager $15 million.

Oscars 2010 might just see Inglorious Bastard, this year’s offering of Quentin Tarantino emerging as the dark horse winner in both the hotly contested categories due to split voting. The best acting category ofOscar awards 2010 has Jeff Bridges as the firm favorite and the same can be said for Sandra Bullock, the Blind Side’s star.

The Oscar awards 2010 will also see a wide British representation with best actor award seeing Colin Firth as the nominee for A Single Man and Carey Mulligan nominated for best actress award for An Education.
