Injured Praveen Kumar to return India

Indian seam bowler Praveen Kumar on Thursday ruled out of the ongoing Twenty20 World Cup because of an abdominal muscle tear.

Praveen had sustained the injury during a practice session at the 3Ws Oval and the Indian team management sent him for an MRI which revealed a tear in abdomen muscle.

Praveen, who had played both the group matches against Afghanistan and South Africa, will return home on Thursday.
