Nokia N86 smartphone launched in India

Nokia has launched the N86 smartphone in the Indian market. The defining feature of this phone is its 8MP in-built camera with a wide-angle lens. The Nokia N86 runs on the open source operating Symbian (S60) system. The maximum resolution offered on Nokia models so far has been 5MP. With the N86, Nokia is pitting itself against the likes of Sony Ericsson and Samsung in the high-end camera phone market in India.

The N86, which has a dual slide design, is optimised to take photographs of fast-moving targets with its Automatic Motion Blur Reduction feature. The N86 which has an 8GB internal memory, is WiFi-, GPS-, HSDPA-, and Bluetooth (2.0)-enabled and also comes equipped with gaming keys and a CMOS sensor. The Nokia N86 also has an in-built compass and it supports an integrated FM Transmitter. The Nokia N86 is selling Price Rs27,359/-
