LG Cookie Pep comes to India

LG has announced LG Cookie Pep (GD510) to take on the Corbys and other cheap touchscreen phones in India. LG has described the GD510 as the most compact 3-inch full touchscreen handset.

LG Cookie Pep will feature a 3-inch touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, FM radio, media playback, 42MB of internal memory – expandable up to 8GB using microSD cards, Bluetooth and quick access to various social networking sites.

The phone is on sale right now at a nominal price of Rs. 7,799 all across the country. With this nominal price, the phone is a good competitor to the entire Samsung Corby range which appears to be its prominent rival.
