Don’t watch the the sun during eclipse directly with your naked eye. Protect your eyes by a dark black plastic sheet or a eclipse viewer.

The longest solar eclipse of the 21st century will be seen tomorrow(22/07/2009).

A total eclipse occurs when the Sun is completely obscured by the Moon. The intensely bright disk of the Sun is replaced by the dark silhouette of the Moon.
The surya grahan will be seen on tomorrow at around 5:28am to around 7:40am (IST).

The Indian cities through which the shadow of total eclipse passes are Bhavnagar, Surat, Ujjain, Indore, Bhopal, Sagar, Jabalpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Gaya, Patna, Bhagalpur, Jalpaigudi, Guwahati and Dibrugarh.

The countries to witness the path of the Moon's umbral shadow are India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China. China's largest city Shanghai will experience the total solar eclipse for five minutes.

Thousands of people across the country ready to see this once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon. Next total solar eclipse will be seen 105 years later.
